SysAdmin Day 2025: IT Community Meetup in Baku

On July 25, an exclusive event for SysAdmin Day 2025 took place at the Mala Praha restaurant. The event brought together members of the SysAdmin AZ Channel community, including system administrators, IT specialists, DevSecOps engineers, IT directors, and CISOs from different companies across the country.

Rinat Mustafayev, Sales Director at SmartIT, welcomed the guests, introducing the event organizer — SmartIT — as well as the sponsors, Bakotech and Softprom, and expressing appreciation for their support and contribution to the community.

Part of the evening was dedicated to the history of the SysAdmin AZ Channel community, which was founded in 2009. The organizers showed a video about how the community has grown from 10 to 250 members. They noted that the community continues to stay active and grow, bringing together more IT professionals across the country.

The event included an interactive Kahoot quiz with themed questions. The winners received memorable and valuable prizes. The evening was also supported by a guest DJ, who created a great atmosphere and kept the energy high throughout the event.

SysAdmin Day in Baku has long become a good tradition for the local IT community. For many participants, it is not just a professional holiday, but also an opportunity for live communication, sharing experience, and strengthening professional connections. The 2025 event once again confirmed that such traditions remain relevant and meaningful.
